Cora Energy has undertaken the project development, design, and engineering services for the Kolin Soma Hybrid Solar Power Plant. The work scope was limited to planning, technical documentation, and regulatory approvals, without execution of on-site EPC activities.
The design was developed in line with the essential technical parameters provided by the client, including layout optimization, energy yield simulations, and hybrid integration requirements. Grid connection studies and hybrid operation analyses were prepared in accordance with Turkish Ministry of Energy regulations.
Deliverables included:
Conceptual and detailed plant design, including array layouts, single-line diagrams, and protection schemes.
Preliminary civil and structural engineering studies to assess land suitability for hybrid installation.
Electrical design covering DC/AC system sizing, cabling calculations, and MV integration schemes.
Regulatory project approval documentation prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Energy.
The Kolin Soma Hybrid SPP design was completed following international engineering standards (IEC, IEEE) and local regulations, providing the basis for potential EPC implementation.
