Rönesans Hibrit SPP

The Ronesans Amasya Solar Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 4.66 MWp, has been successfully commissioned as an auxiliary renewable energy source for three hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) located in Amasya, Türkiye. The project comprises three distinct PV fields situated adjacent to the HPP sites, designed to maximize hybrid energy integration and operational efficiency.

Three solar sites strategically located to support and operate in synergy with the existing hydropower infrastructure.
This large-scale hybrid solar power plant was constructed following 60,000 tons of soil stabilization and geotechnical investigations to ensure long-term soil integrity. The JA Solar PV modules were mounted on precast concrete ballast foundations, aligned and leveled to international tolerances.

Mechanical Assembly: Structural assembly, torque-controlled module installation, and verification of battery/system balance integrity.
Electrical: DC cabling, AC cabling, transformer + MV switchgear installation, and a 5 km MV transmission line with pole erection and conductor stringing.
Safety: Full HSE compliance with OSHA and ISO 45001, including fall arrest systems, PPE application, hot work permits, and electrical lockout/tagout.
Standards: IEC 62446, IEC 60364, IEC 60076, NEC, NFPA.
Commissioning: IV curve monitoring, insulation resistance testing, SCADA integration, load shedding, and final synchronization with the national grid. All processes were carried out in accordance with IEC 62446, NEC, and IEC 61730 standards. Licensing, project approval, and Ministry of Energy acceptance were completed in Türkiye.
